David Allen reminds us:
"If you don't give appropriate attention to what has your attention, it will take more of your attention than it deserves. "
What needs your attention today?
What needs my attention today is revising the manuscript on Louis Hammerling and the foreign-language press and sending it to my co-author Karen Boyajy.
That is the first step to reducing the white noise in my head that includes the need to also send in the next one to four weeks:
--Revised manuscript on John Spivak and his photographs of the torture of Georgia chain gangs in the 1930s. Then resubmit to Visual Communication Quarterly.
--Completed manuscript on "Hambone's Meditations," the Ku Klux Klan, and the Commercial Appeal's Pulitzer Prize.
--Draft of book proposal on Possum Town pictures.
